This film does not only tackle the themes of strange superpowers but also covers topics such as domestic abuse, illness, anxiety and tackles the issues that regular teenagers face when growing up around others. The plot was great, well thought out and the description of it being low- budget does not shine through at all. With funny, heartbreaking and tense scenes throughout the film, I was completely hooked and could not draw my eyes away. I have never seen a film like this before, normally, when there are so many themes, a film cannot handle it and it ends up being a flop, but Chronicle managed it perfectly and made an absolutely amazing film that I will definitely be recommending to other people who have not yet seen it.
