This film is about a teen bird called Kai who wants to explore everything. But with an overprotective dad it won’t really happen and he lives on a plain side of Africa were you mostly see lizards, sand and birds. But on the other side there is an amazing city full of birds for birds called Zambezia. That is where Kai grew up but moved to the dessert. First Kai and his dad Sekuru are training for Kai to become the world’s greatest lizard hunter then they have an argument about why kai should be able to go explore the world and why he shouldn’t. Then he goes and flies somewhere else to Zambezia where he meets a tourist called Ezee and they become good mates with each other. In the middle he becomes a hurricane in training which is very good for him (A hurricane was a group of birds they would security check around the whole thing and would go on special missions.) At the end Kai dad comes home to Zambezia and he becomes a hurricane again.
My favourite part was when he trained to become a hurricane and was surprised that he slept on a branch and I liked how it teaches you a lesson at the end of the film that you don’t judge a book by its cover so everyone is welcomed in.
I recommend this to people who like birds and colours.
