Hidden Figures is a film about women overcoming American racial segeration and sexism stereotypes in science (NASA). It features Tarajip Henson as Katherine Johnson, who acts as a human computer in NASA's workplace, Octavia Spencer as Dorothy Vaughan, who monitors the African-American women in the computer department. There was also Janelle Monae as Mary Jackson- the first woman involved in building the structure of the Apollo space shuttle.
I really enjoyed this film as it was a really strong feminist film, that really empowered me to take up science as a hobby. The transitions between scenes really brought it all together. The acting was AMAZING, and I liked the change of tempo between different scenes. Over all, I would really recommend this movie to 10+.
