'Memento' is a film you can't really review without ruining the entire film. Leonard Shelby is a Private Detective who is suffering from a condition that means he can't form new memories after an incident, leaving his only form of memory to be notes he has left for himself. These stretch from notes on polaroid pictures to tattoos etched onto his body. What is he after? The murderer of his wife. Except can Leonard trust everything he has written down for himself in the past. Unlike the stereotypical Hollywood blockbuster, 'Memento' teases out the truth by slowly moving backwards. If it had been linear, the film wouldn’t have been half as interesting to watch. And that's all I can say without ruining the twist. You’ll have to watch the film to find out the twist for yourself.
