WithPrince Richard off fighting in the crusades. The running of the land was left in the incapable hands of his cruel and heartless brother Prince John .A man of great unkindness , who new no mercy.A villain who takes from the poor and gives to the rich until one day Robin Hood and his band of merry men change all that.Robin will now with the help of his merrymen and the beautiful maid Marion ,will now take from the rich and give to the poor.
The film was shot in many locations,a lot of the outside scenes were shot in a beautiful forest somewhere in England .Many of the castle scenes were filmed in the studio including the famous sword fight scene on the castle stairs between Robin and Guy of Guisbon.
The film had a wonderful soundtrack the music accompanied the scenes perfectly from the dramatic sword fighting scenes to the Romantic liaisons between Robin and maid Marion.
