The documentary "The Hard Stop" is a documentary based on the death of Mark Duggan, who was shot by police in 2011. It also highlights how Mark Duggan's family felt and acted after his death. This documentary was made in 2015. The genre of the film is a documentary.
I believe that the directer George Amponsah made a extremely, well put together documentary. I loved the way he put a lot of emotion into to the documentary. Myself as the audience felt what the family and friends of Mark Duggen was feeling, and it was like as if i was there with them going tough it.
Also, i like the fact that documentary wasn't only about Mark Duggen and his death, but also the death of PC Blakelock in 1985 and also they way they followed Mark's two best friend.
I like the fact that the documentary was made, because it lets the public know more about what happened to Mark Duggen and give them facts then letting them read the horrible comments on social media.
I really really enjoyed this documentary (even though i hate watching documentary's), but this one draw me into it and made me understand a lot of things. For example, i didn't actually know who Mark Duggen was and even if i did why he died.
I would rate this documentary five stars because the amount of emotion and hard work the directer put into it. And also, the way the directer made me as the audience feel, like this documentary mad me feel upset throughout it and also made me angry a few times.I feel this was because it was about someones death but also the way the police treated Mark Duggen's family and friends, even though they were just trying to get answers and find out the real reason why the police chose to shot Mark Duggen twice and kill him.
I would recommend this documentary to anyone that is interested about Mark Duggen and who wants to see the out comes of the death.
