Storks was a pleasantly surprising film.
Firstly, the animation looked great. There was detail in the characters designs( Tulip's hair, Junior's feathers), but it still looked colourful and cartoonish.
I really loved the majority of the characters as well. Junior was an interesting enough protagonist and Nate was a likeable character, but the standout character for me was Tulip. With her optimism and wild red hair, Tulip was a joy to watch on screen! Also, Pigeon Toady was a hilarious to watch.
But, perhaps the best part was that this movie combined heart warming and hilarious perfectly. I was laughing my head off at most scenes, but then smiling at how adorable some scenes were.
All in all, Storks was a feel good movie that had me smiling for a long time.
