I really enjoyed this film, and it is defintely one of my favourites. The storyline was very strong and clear and it was also very interesting. My favourite character was balvasar because he was funny and kind as well as having cool magical powers. The main character was also very funny and was the right actor for the character. I also thought the man who came out of the doll first was very good at acting and being his character.
This is because he was bad and he made you fell as if you didnt like him. This is a great skill in acting as it sets the mood, and also shows the level of how good his acting skills were, as it is hard to be a bad character and make people have a slightly more negative outlook on you, (as a character) than the "good" character. I think the character who played Morgana (although this wasnt her fault) could have shown her personality more as she was only in the scene for a bit. So as an actor,if you had only seen this bit of acting with her in, I would not class her as a great actress.
I think during the middle (although it is a long film) could have been more descriptive. But their use of catching evil sorcerers in a russian doll was very imaginative and creative. I would class this as a family, comedy and adventure movie for all ages. Overall I think it was a very good movie and I would watch it again. :)
