Princess Mononoke is one of the greatest animations I've ever seen, alongside other films. This film is definitely worth the watch, as it shows great feelings, and really puts the picture in your head. For a movie relentlessly going over gods, goddesses and other Japanese features, it's great. Not only does it give you an extremely good feel of what the characters do, and what they think, but it also gives you that humour, and a massive build-up on the story. As you progress through the film, you'll find that they expressed the characters so well, that you start to understand everything about the movie. I do have to warn you though, this film may include a slight gory part to it, but other than that, Princess Mononoke is all around amazing, and if you love anime, this may hold an interesting spot in your heart. I just can't get my head around the tension and the overwhelming entertainment I had whilst watching this. It's an excellent film to enjoy anywhere, any time. I can't get myself to stop saying that in this review. That's how astounding and awesome this film is. Once you watch Princess Mononoke, you'll probably think that it's obviously got the 5 star review I've put down. It's characters really give an idea of the background behind the story and that fact blends perfectly well with how excellent this movie is. You could compare this with other child-friendly anime, and see how that would blend for your love of the Japanese's excellence with this. Though Princess Mononoke is predominantly Japanese, the English voice actors are brilliant at this.
