This film is a comedy but not that the language is funny, it's physical humour, so someone might fall through a roof or a hole. There are two main characters in this film Laurel (who is the thin English man) and Hardy (who is the fat American guy). Laurel is the posh, clumsy one out of the due and Hardy is the silly one. I like both of the characters but mostly Hardy because he keeps on falling in holes and stuff.
Laurel and Hardy are trying to find a persons daughter to give them the inheritance of a gold mine. The story takes place in a saloon in Texas where they put on shows every night with a girl who originally gets the inheritance of the gold mine.
I gave this film 4* as it was the first black and white movie I have ever seen and it was really funny.
I would say this is a good film to watch with your family if you are 7 or above.
