Dear Reader,

If you have been living under a rock,(a very, very big rock),then you most likely haven’t seen Shrek. Now, Shrek is, before you say anything, not a goblin, not a lizard and most definitely not a gorilla. Don’t scream but he’s an OGRE! I know what you’re thinking,’Eww! Big, Ugly, Stinky OGRE!’ .If you are thinking all of those things and much more then why don’t you try another way of thinking. I will now quote a line,’ You see this onion, this onion is me, loads and loads of layers.’ Shrek is correct and the only layer most people see is the outside, the warty, green OGRE.

Yes ,I know what your thinking. Is Shrek the only character in this brilliant film? No ,he is not, as everyone knows there are always the good guys…and the bad ones. Lord Farquad is sadly, on the dark side, he lives in his castle with his twisted mind. Always wanting the shortcuts and power! One more thing, there’s something wrong with him. Others call it troubled growth, I call it a midgetness.

Of course, there’s a wing man. Well………in this case not really a man but a talking DONKEY.I will not tell you when or where or how these two completely different characters meet, but you know who else can? THE FILM. Before you go screaming for it at the shops, I would like to say this is a memorable and exhilarating film. I’m afraid I have said too much, now I must go.
