Billy Eliot is an amazing film set in the 1980s but instead of afros and disco, Billy Eliot is about riots and ballet, even though it has not one pair of leg warmers it includes a heart warming story about a boy who has to ignore all of the stereotype comments the world has to offer.
The film is about Billy Eliot a young boxer who finds a passion for the graceful art of ballet, Billy loves ballet but his family class it as girly and are obsessed to get him to stop but with a determined teacher, a “close” friend and a strike distracting them he takes every chance to dance he can get.
This film is a masterpiece, during the film I cried, laughed and danced around the room. Though I want everyone to see it, it swears a lot so I would rate it a 12+.
