I'm gonna start off by saying that, I'm not the greatest fan of the superhero
genre and Marvel. Sure, they are entertaining and humorous, but
the plots are very, very complex and hard to understand. But the plot
of Age Of Ultron is different, because this time it's

Complicated, complex, mind-boggling, brain-wracking, and painful to
decipher.
Sure, the plot is good, and after a big, long explanation from Dad
as we were heading back from Middlesbrough after seeing it, I
understand the plot a bit better. But what I'm trying to get across is
how people would first react to the plot after the first components and
snippets are shown to us. This would probably scare away any child
who likes their plots more simpler yet original, like me.
The overall duration of the film doesn't help either. Two and-a-half hours
is way too long, and makes some scenes dull and boring. Sure, the action
scenes are pretty darn epic, but, them aside, it feels like some of the
scenes are trying to make us long for them particular scenes to end.
The twins, Quicksilver and whatever that girl's name with the mind warping
abilities, took a while to be likable. In the end, I did like them, but it's how you
introduce a character that's the important thing to focus on, and for me, they
were two random people clowning around and working for the enemy.
Which leads me to talk about Ultron, who I thought was a decent and intimidating
threat for the Avengers to face. The CGI on him was pretty good, and he did
provide some good humour.
The effects and explosions are great, and they are what make a
Marvel movie epic, and in this film, it's no exception. The graphics
team, the stuntmen, the visuals department, everyone involved,
you deserve a pat on the back.
All in all, Age Of Ultron was a slightly underwhelming, yet enjoyable
sequel to Avengers Assemble. But what is killing it is the amount
of hype
that it got. People were saying that this film was gonna be the
2nd highest-grossing film ever, all because Avengers Assemble
was the third!!!
Although, in all honesty, Age Of Ultron is a pretty average movie,
so, out of 10, I will give it a 6, and out of five stars, I will give it
a three. And here's to Guardians Of The Galaxy 2!!!! Wooooo!!!!!
