Ethan Hawke, plays Vincent freeman in a world where the majority of the population are conceived through genetic manipulation. It is a futuristic world, where natural born children otherwise known as invalids and test tube babies are known as valids. Throughout the film Vincent battles against genetic discrimination. This is a film well before it's time, it tells a gripping tale of discrimination in ways we have never seen before and leaves you wondering if it is actually a reality. Jude Law and Ethan Hawke's characters have lots of twists and turns in their battle to get Vincent into space. You have to give this film a chance. I think this film was great in a lot of aspects, storyline, characters, performance and much more. I would definitely recommend this film.
