Insomnia (2002)

Insomnia was a great film, I love the crime thriller genre and so for me it was perfect. The concept behind it was brilliant, with constant plot twists and exciting new pieces of information reveled to the audience to ponder over. Al Pacino was great actor and was a very believable detective/police officer. He played the part of Will Dormer an officer who's job is threatened by the IA (Internal Affairs), who goes to Alaska due to the murder of a 17 year old girl. However whilst in Alaska he finds himself unable to sleep because of the constant light outside (and the horrors of his past), this is where the film gets it's title "Insomnia". Overall I would definitely recommend this film to anyone who wants a series movie and doesn't mind having to concentrate for 118 minutes.
