The terrific tale of Narnia brings us back to a hard time in World War Two, where Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy have to face leaving their mother and staying with a distant relative as evacuees. This wondrous narrative is a re-written story from the Bible by C.S Lewis. It is re-written especially for children so that they can understand the stories of Jesus easier. It all starts when Lucy (Georgie Henley) plays hide and seek with her siblings and finds a mysterious wardrobe. Thinking this is the perfect place to hide, she ventures in. As she pushes the coats backwards so she doesn't bump into the back of the wardrobe, she finds something that definitely ISN'T coat. It is a pine tree! She then wanders into the magical world on Narnia. Later on her siblings do too after Edmund performs a monstrous betrayal. Aslan, the true king of Narnia, rises once again however there is a terrible battle between the immoral White Witch and the humane Aslan. Aslan is brave and true although the Witch has many more warriors. Who will win?
I advise everyone to read this fantastic film, approximately people from the age of five and above although I advise EVERYONE to read the brilliant books!!!
