This Disney Animation of Pocahontas directed by Eric Goldberg and Mike Gabriel was a very entertaining Disney musical. This movie is for any gender and it isn't too long. It is perfect for families, schools and anyone who would like to watch it. At the start of the movie a crew of British explorers set of to destroy the Native American Indian's land in search of gold and riches. From the off the directors had you on the edge of your seat with a storm at sea and a rescue from Captain John Smith of a boy who had gone overboard. There were many things I both liked and disliked about this film. I disliked that in every Disney love story has the storyline as Romeo and Juliet and also Disney failed quite often to make me laugh. I liked the way the scene was set perfectly and also the use of information used between each line of song really gave out great factual information about the American Indians. My favourite part in the film was when John Smith was Introduced to Grandma Willow - the confusion in John Smith's face could tell that he had never seen a talking tree before! Maybe this was Disney's way of saying the Indians thought the land was alive. The directors really made sure the viewers would not be bored as there wasn't a weak moment in the film. So if you asked me the question, "Should I watch this movie?" I would say yes, however, don't worry if you don't get the chance soon! So I give this movie
