'The Chorus' is a charming French film by Christophe Barratier. It is about a successful composer who, after a funeral, meets up with an old school friend. Together they read the diary of their old school teacher who ran the choir. The rest of the film, until the very end, is from the point of view of the teacher. He is going to a school for difficult boys. At first they seem uncontrollable, but after hearing them sing he decides to start a choir, which hugely benefits the boys. At times, it can seem a little too sweet and predictable, but overall 'The Chorus' is a heart-warming film for children and adults alike. And that boy is a brilliant singer!
