Although this film was in black and white, it was still good to watch being able to see how children cope when they are away from all adults. At first I didn't really get what was going on in the film but once discussing it with my friends, we came to conclusions what it was about. I'd probably watch the film again but it wouldn't be one of my first choices. I think that one of the themes in the film was Friendship. The boys in the film worked together to survive and some of the things they did in the film to survive, were very interesting! The film left me with mixed feelings, happy in a way but also sad after what happened to some of the poor boys!
