127 Hours (2010)

127 hours is a tender, biographical adventure film directed by Danny Boyle. It focuses on a man called Aron Ralston who gets trapped by a boulder between a canyon wall and inevitably ends up fighting for survival. Overall I thought this movie had an interesting montage of clips and contained effective visions of Ralston's life such as flashbacks and flash forwards, however there were very slow paces and certain scenes became hard to stomach especially in the crucial scene. Despite this, this film offers surprisingly fun cinematography and moral messages that rounds this movie off with the fact that within the most impossible situations, you can beat the odds.
