Juno (2007)

Juno is a good film, it has strong messages about chilbirth and young pregnancy, a strong cast of characters and a quite complex plot. Saying that; as a film I saw Juno as a drama and for me the drama was never there, we had a good setup but I didn't feel Juno ever went anywhere with Juno as a character. Juno at the end is still the same person she was at the begining, I could see no noticible differences in ANY of the characters except for the man trying to adopt her child and trust me his moments of character development are ones the movie could do without. Unlike most films released of late Juno has some fun poppy songs in between dramatic moments and although in most films I would just ignore this I have to bring it up here because for me it RUINS THE MOVIE Juno is meant to be a drama meaning that it is meant to move me to tears, sadly whenever we have a sad moment or something dramatic one of these songs play and ruin the mood stopping any sad moments or impact the film could have went for If you haven't seen Juno I recomend watching it because despite its flaws it is a good movie but sadly I can only give it 3 stars
