A little alien boy-prince from the planet Asteroid B-612 meets a pilot who has crash-landed in the Sahara desert, and tells him the story of his strange adventures around the solar system, in this loveable musical fable based on a story by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. The Little Prince learns his biggest life lessons on Earth from the Fox and the Snake. Stanley Donen, who directed and produced the musical, also directed 1952 Gene Kelly-starrer, Singin' in the Rain.
This wonderful film from the central Asian country of Mongolia is somewhere between a documentary and a fictional movie.
