Synopsis

Dr Seuss' much loved festive tale about the green, Christmas-hating Grinch. This short film continues to delight children of all ages (and probably more than a few adults too!), a sweet (but not too sweet) animated classic that's still every bit as much fun today as it was when it was made back in the 1960s. Legendary horror star Boris Karloff provides the narration and the voice of the Grinch, while the song "You're A Mean One, Mr Grinch" is sure to set toes tapping every time it plays.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
