Synopsis

An upper-class American woman travelling through the jungle meets George, a dim but sweet-natured Tarzan-like chap. George also has a pet elephant who thinks he's a dog, and a butler called Ape. If it's not quite love at first sight, then it's love pretty soon - but will she be able to escape from her scheming fiancé and a family who don't want a vine-swinging addition to the clan? Likeable comedy, based on a classic TV cartoon.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
