Slacker is a unique and eccentric series of loosely linked scenes and episodes that adds up to something both fascinating and memorable. With the camera roving around seemingly at random, we're offered a collection of "slices of life" taking in the coffee-houses, clubs, apartments and shops of the American college town of Austin, Texas - and the various weird and wonderful people inside them. A cult sensation when it first came out, the film has continued to entertain and endure.
This film has several uses of strong bad language and strong sex.
