Synopsis

Ernest and Lars are brothers - but snobbish chef Ernest doesn't want anything to do with Lars, until they come into an inheritance. They move into the run-down old mansion, and discover that if they can fix it up it will be worth a fortune but they haven't reckoned on a very persistent, unwelcome guest in the shape of a tiny mouse. Trying anything to get rid of it - including hiring a killer cat called Catzilla and a very scary pest control man - the two find themselves up against the biggest challenge of their lives. A throwback to classic slapstick, this family-focused caper also has themes around the consequences of greed.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
