An unusual movie about a group of children growing up in one of America's poorest and most neglected corners - but also one of great eccentricity and fascination. The plot doesn't drive the film (although one very dramatic event does take place) - instead it relies on atmosphere, small incidents and passing conversations to take the audience into a world where time passes slowly, and one kid takes his dream of being a superhero a little too seriously.
This film has a couple of uses of mild bad language
