In this rowdy parody of the UK urban genre, outlandish duo Riko and Kane have big dreams, no respect, and a fifteen grand debt. In a hairbrained scheme to get some money, they target a megastar in a nightclub and hold up the local bank. Things get out of hand and following a series of misunderstandings, they end up in business with one of East London’s toughest firms, putting them in the line of fire to the firm’s arch-rivals. Meanwhile Riko is trying to win the affection of Tamara, while having to dodge the outrage of her stepbrother Tyrese. A whacky and thrilling ride, embracing the vibrant and diverse lifestyle of an East London council estate and packed with explosive laughter, the film also explores serious subject matters such as mental health issues with raw emotion and tough authenticity.
