Synopsis
Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello are four teenage brothers who live in the sewers of New York City – they also happen to be mutant turtles with incredible ninja skills. Sheltered from the human world because their father, a mutant rat, is worried for their safety, the youngsters nevertheless crave a life above the sewers and acceptance from society. After they befriend a plucky young journalist named April O’Neil, things seem to be looking up but when a mysterious crime syndicate begins to cause mayhem across the city, the turtles soon discover that there are other dangerous mutants who are out to wreak as much havoc as possible. This new adaptation of the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the first to cast actual teenagers in the main voice roles as well as adopting a unique animation style to tell its chaotic story of brotherly love and acceptance.
