Ben is an astrophysicist who, after falling on tough times, has had to seek work as a tour guide in New Orleans despite the fact he has recently invented a camera that may be able to take pictures of the dead. He is soon approached by Father Kent, a priest who has a proposal for Ben – to help single mother Gabbie and her son to rid their newly bought mansion of a group of supernatural squatters! Along with other paranormal experts, such as a psychic and a history professor, Ben and Father Travis soon discover that ousting these ghouls may not be as straightforward as they hoped. Occupying that lovely middle ground between family-friendly and delightfully spooky, Haunted Mansion also explores themes of family, grief and moving on.
