Synopsis

For hundreds of years, sea beasts have surfaced to wreak havoc against humankind. In response, sailors known as ‘hunters’ venture out onto the open waters to hunt the beasts and seek glory. The most famous of these vessels is the Inevitable, led by the legendary Captain Crow, whose adopted son Jacob is also part of the crew. Jacob’s father promises him that he will be made captain after Crow completes his final mission, which is to kill a female sea beast known as the Red Bluster that took his eye decades earlier. But when the King and Queen inform them that they are soon to be replaced by a new royal naval vessel, Crow and Jacob must hunt the creature first to prove their worth.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
