Ryder and his team of search and rescue puppies face their biggest rival in this big screen adaptation of the popular television series. Each pup, composed of various individual breeds, possessing unique skills and exciting high-tech gadgets, work alongside the young Ryder to solve crimes. When their longtime nemesis, Mayor Humdinger, takes over Adventure City and implements ludicrous changes such as a dangerous firework display and a rollercoaster subway, the team head over to help the city’s citizens. Getting to work is particularly difficult with a newly implemented ‘cats only’ policy on the streets, but the pups are luckily joined by a new member, a tiny dachshund named Liberty. This animated feature is a lighthearted and fast-paced story about team work that will appeal especially to very young audiences.
