During the 1960s, the world was awash with the fear and chaos caused by the Cold War. The Courier tells the true story of British businessman Greville Wynn who was recruited by British intelligence agency MI6 and asked to pose as the business partner of a Russian colonel. As the international situation worsens and the transport of Soviet missiles to Cuba becomes apparent, Wynne must use all his wits and acumen to extract vital information about these weapons whilst staying ahead of the game. A fictionalized account of one of the most crucial periods in recent history, this film is essential for anyone wanting to learn more details about the Cuban Missile Crisis and the people at the very heart of the action.
