Synopsis

The old after-school TV favourite may not be so familiar to more recent generations of children, but younger audiences should still enjoy the adventures of this wise-cracking cat. A streetwise city-dweller with a band of faithful followers, Top Cat has always delighted in outsmarting Officer Dibble, the neighbourhood cop. But when Dibble is framed by the city's out-of-control new police chief, can Top Cat come to the rescue?

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
