Absurd sight gags make for moments of pure Laurel and Hardy gold in this feature-length black-and-white comedy. The delightfully daft plot sees the lovable buffoons playing mousetrap salesman who set up business in Switzerland, figuring the country's large cheese supply must attract plenty of rodents. But instead of getting rich, they end up broke and working in a hotel to clear their debts. Here, Ollie falls for an incognito opera singer, whose composer husband proves the catalyst for one of the boys most memorable routines, as they attempt to move his piano across a rickety Alpine rope bridge where an escaped gorilla awaits them! Interestingly, the man in the ape suit also monkeys around in The Chimp - one of the accompanying shorts that boost this DVD to total running time of 202 minutes.
Comic shenanigans from the legendary double-act, who here travel to the Wild West and run into problems with a cunning bar owner.
