Jim Carrey stars in this farcical comedy as Carl who, recently divorced and hopelessly bored with his life, takes unusual steps to get out of his rut. Persuaded by a self-help guru he reluctantly agrees to say yes to everything that is asked of him. Soon his newly positive attitude is leading him into all sorts of crazy situations most significantly dates with the kooky Allison. But being unable to say no threatens to jeopardise the relationship before it has barely begun.
