This unusual romantic drama takes place nine years on from Richard Linklater's charming Before Sunrise, in which Jesse and Celine spend just one magical night in Vienna together, only to go their separate ways in the morning. It transpires they never met again and, now, Jesse is a successful novelist, in Paris to promote a book he wrote about what happened between them. Much to his surprise, Celine turns up at his reading and the two tentatively get to know each other again on a wander through the city. It seems like they are fated for each other but, yet again, Jesse has a plane to catch.
Classification This film has a couple of uses of strong bad language and sex references.
