After Sean Connery decided to retire from playing James Bond, producers made the surprising choice of casting an unknown Australian model named George Lazenby as 007. An unusually emotional entry in the franchise; this is the first one where the super spy falls in love, rather than treating the girls as disposable. This time, 007 goes from Portugal to the Swiss Alps on the trail of the supervillain Ernst Stavro Blofeld. The film is perhaps best known for a classic bobsled chase, some spectacular cinematography in the Swiss Alps, and the song ‘We Have All The Time In The World’ sung by Louis Armstrong. Reaction to the film (and Lazenby himself) at the time was very mixed, but its reputation continues to grow, to the point where many now consider it one of the finest entries in the franchise.
Contains moderate action violence and mild innuendo.
