Synopsis

Sent to a remote area of the Florida Keys to stay with his uncle Porter, Sandy Ricks hates just about everything there is to hate about his new surroundings. He is on the point of escaping back to his home town of Chicago when he meets Flipper, an unusually friendly dolphin who takes him on a whole new set of adventures that last the whole summer. This is a remake of the famous 1963 family adventure story.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
