Synopsis

The real stars of this second Muppet movie are Kermit and Miss Piggy, but there are cameos from real people too, including John Cleese as a posh Englishman. The story is simple enough - Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear are reporters investigating a jewel theft after the real criminals escape and frame Miss Piggy - but it's carried out with great panache. Plenty of songs, endless daft banter and enough silliness to make everyone smile.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
