This interactive session, designed for educators delivering film qualifications, will explore how a wider range of perspectives can be embedded into student-made films to better reflect the global and diverse world we live in.

We'll introduce activities to use with students at each stage of the filmmaking process from idea generation through to evaluation. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in practical production tasks throughout the session to build their confidence in facilitating filmmaking projects in the classroom.

Attendees will come away with strategies to explore a broader range of perspectives to reflect the diversity of the world around usand enable all learners to see themselves in the content they study. They'll also have a bank of simple techniques to support students in producing high-quality short films even with the most minimal of equipment.
