Event details
Deep in a lush rainforest, a baby orangutan called Ozi and her parents live a peaceful life swinging in the trees. One night, Ozi's world is turned upside down when her forest home is destroyed, and she becomes separated from her family. Frightened and alone, she is rescued by Kirani and Robert, a pair of kind humans who run a wildlife sanctuary. They teach Ozi to communicate through sign language and soon the little orangutan makes friends and settles into life at the sanctuary. Her day-to-day antics are captured on camera, and, discovering a natural talent for social media, Ozi becomes an internet sensation. When she learns that her parents might still be alive, Ozi embarks on a mission to find them, using her skills as an online influencer to tell the whole world about what's happening with deforestation - before it's too late.
