With summer in full swing, the small town of Adirondacks in upstate New York welcomes AdirondACTS, a ramshackle theatre camp that encourages the art of performance and drama. For years, the camp has been scraping by but with their founder Joan suddenly falling into a coma, this year's edition is being steered by her clueless son Troy, who seems more interested in crypto-finance than theatre. Faced with the threat of financial ruin, Troy must team up with the passionate but eccentric pairing of Amos and Rebecca Diane, the evergreen leaders of the camp's program who have their own ongoing issues, and figure out a way to prevent his mother's beloved camp from falling into the wrong hands. Packed with jokes and memorable characters, this comedy is a love letter to theatre and a satirical look at how capitalism can get in the way of passion and art.
