WHAT: Into Film is pleased to offer complimentary tickets for an educational preview screening of the hilarious new animated adventure, Playmobil: The Movie, courtesy of StudioCanal UK.

Anyone who secures tickets for the event will receive a printed summer competition pack for pupils on the day, with exciting PLAYMOBIL prizes to be won!

What's more, at this special screening, pupils have the chance to roleplay with a Playmobil: The Movie dress-up and photoshoot! Further instructions on how to take part will be included in your booking confirmation email.

Don't forget to watch the trailer, plus download and complete the 3Cs and 3Ss literacy activity with your pupils ahead of seeing the film. Analysing the characters and settings in the trailer will teach them about genre, getting them ready to enjoy the wonderful themed world-hopping in the film. This will also help them prepare to enter our summer Play Your Role design competition (deadline 31 August)!

Synopsis

The first feature film inspired by the popular toy brand sees responsible older sister Marla embark on an epic adventure to find her younger brother Charlie after they are sucked into a mysterious vortex. Waking in the Playmobil universe Marla finds herself transformed into an animated figurine in a strange land and, with the help of bizarre and heroic characters, she must try to bring Charlie back home. While travelling through different eras and settings, from western America to the Viking Age, she teams up with Del, a humorous food-truck driver; Rex, a suave secret agent; and an extravagant Fairy Godmother. This entertaining quest has plenty of laughs for those familiar with the Playmobil brand and explores themes of teamwork and family.
