Synopsis

This is a live-action film based on the great cartoon books about the village of brave Gauls (the people from what is now France) who foil the whole Roman army, aided only by a bit of magic potion. In this cheerful and funny adventure, Roman leader Julius Caesar himself comes to Gaul to try to deal with these pesky people who refuse to bow down before him.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
