Synopsis

Steve is looking forward to spending his first Christmas in a long time with his son Tom. Having just got out of prison, he’s keen to stick to quiet activities and stay out of trouble. These plans are quickly scuppered by a herd of loose reindeer and a man in Lambeth Prison claiming to be Father Christmas. With only two days left till Christmas and Santa behind bars, it’s left to Steve and Tom to save the day in a hilarious, madcap adventure. This family comedy has plenty of clever jokes, a warm festive message and a wonderfully silly performance from Jim Broadbent as Santa.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."
