Synopsis

Legendary directors Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson team up for this spirited computer animated adventure, based on the much-loved comic-book about a boy reporter and his faithful dog Snowy. Tintin is a young journalist in 1950s Belgium who is keen to get the biggest scoop that he can and put his name on the map. After purchasing a curious model ship known as the Unicorn at a market, he is suddenly whisked away on an international adventure involving action, intrigue and sunken treasure. However, with the dangerous Red Rackham and his gang of pirates involved, Tintin must rely on his wits, and his friends, to make sure he survives. Using impressive motion capture, this visually unique film is an adventure that must be seen to be believed.

What our educators say

"We are currently screening The Wizard of Oz, profound film that it is, and the last film Wall-E. It's been rewarding observing the KS1 6 year olds run the gamut of emotions from wonder to sadness to joy. "
